Attached to the Gresham Hotel and a relative newcomer to Osborne Road's bustling scene, Barbacca is popular with the well-heeled like all Jesmond Road as well as the students who swell the population during the weekends. Friendly to stags and hens, it is an early warm up sort of bar rather than a rousing end of the eveing sort of place.
There is usally a happy hour between 5-8pm every day

Jesmond is heavily linked to the city centre through 2 metro stations "Jesmond" and "West Jesmond" so it literally takes 2 mins to get into town but also a taxi is very quick and will not cost you more than £5.
