Barluga in Newcastle
Grey Street has always been a very professional area with accountants solicitors and many more high class business and now it has a bar that keeps up that very corporate image.
Fantastic design and decor which encapsulates you as you enter but renouned for its champagne and caviar as the name would suggest.
The food menu is again top quality and on a weekend it is full of the most beatuiful people.
the bar has a restuarant area a booth area and also a mezzaine that looks over the main bar area.
Barluga- the bar with caviar- is the new identity of what used to be Metropolitan Bar and Brasserie, which has just undergonea major refit of its Grey Street site. Barluga will mix a modern members-club-style waitress served lounge, a sophisticated bar and a restaurant serving the best seafood and modern British cuisine. The highlight of the menu will be various kinds of caviar from Eastern Europe, coupled with champagne and fine wines and beers.
