Becareful on the way out because the entrance to the bar is a flight of stairs and after a few good drinks you will feel as if you are climbing down a mountain but definetly well worth a visit.
At the weekend this bar is heavy with the best of all that is good for both male and female.... from past experience anyway.
The pub is L shaped with two long bars, one of which is separated in two parts by a glass screen. The other bar is to the left of the main entrance and has been updated opened out to make more space in the pub. There are beautiful pillars with flickering lights which span the length of the bar. 
There is a pleasant relaxed atmosphere at most times with the bar mainly frequented by quayside revellers, a younger crowd and partygoers. It can be quieter early on through the week however it is extremely busy at the weekend. Very close to the night clubs scene on the quayside. Regular music on play at most times. There are excellent views of the Quayside area. Cash back facility available. Taxi rank outside.

Newcastle has a massive number of bars, late bars and night clubs depending on your taste and mood. They range from the the cheeziest in the country to others winning bar of the year award.
So you can see why we have produced this short nightclub guide. Newcastle its self is very small in size so all bars are in walking distance from and each other, but it all depends on what you want.
