The Union Rooms 
Union Rooms are massive, it has rooms all over the place and in most rooms there are bars. You will have no trouble getting served in here but stay close as you might get lost.
They have now introduced a no smoking policy on the first floor but this is mainly for food anyway.
There is a huge bar to the left and then a second straight on behind the stairs in the atrium. There is seating all though out the bar but most people stand. This is a drinking mans pub for all ages. it is not really for entertaining even though it is very nice, it is for drinking.
Cheap and cheerful and when it is this large your rowdy group can easily get lost or at least not noticed, which is just as important.
The Union Rooms is in central Newcastle upon Tyne and is great for those of you staying in a central hotel (by the way you can check out our accommodation for stags or for hens if you are still looking for somewhere to stay during the weekend. There is also Newcastle City Breaks which has online booking for groups as well if you dont want to talk with anybody)

Once leaving the Apartment you are heading on to the the Bigg market, which is a whole new kettle of fish.
To the left and into town we have the Lounge leading on to the Sam Jacks and on to The Gate.

Newcastle has a massive number of bars, late bars and night clubs depending on your taste and mood. They range from the the cheeziest in the country to others winning bar of the year award.
So you can see why we have produced this short nightclub guide. Newcastle its self is very small in size so all bars are in walking distance from and each other, but it all depends on what you want.
