The Akenside Traders in Newcastle
This is a huge bar in the right part of town. The bar takes on an authentic feel with its decor which is pleasant enough. The front of the bar is covered in Glass to let in the natural light from the quayside but it is always nice when you are sitting in this pub to realise how good your night is going to be considering the passers by.
There is plenty of room to sit in this pub, actually there is plenty of everything in here as it does get very very busy during the evening as it is a good stop off point on the way down the hill of Dean Street.
The people that drink in here are mixed as it is a very busy corporate area as well, but mainly the mid crowd apart from the weekends where the doors are open to everyone. This is a pub that normally has a good deal on some specials that you can get tucked into to make the night better. I would recommend after this pub if you are moving into the Quayside go to Chase and if you are heading up into town move on to Hoko 10 or The Living Room.

Newcastle has a massive number of bars, late bars and night clubs depending on your taste and mood. They range from the the cheeziest in the country to others winning bar of the year award.
So you can see why we have produced this short nightclub guide. Newcastle its self is very small in size so all bars are in walking distance from and each other, but it all depends on what you want.
