Buffalo Joe's Bar and Nightclub in Newcastle
This is a very large bar that has now "thank God" got a late license, and as say this as went you enter Buffalo Joe's you will not stop the entertainment. It is the first Cowgirl/Boy venue in Newcastle and it is very successful as in its popularity. The situation makes this venue unique which it being on the alternative side of the river to the very renowned Quayside but only a small walk which you will notice by the hordes of people taking the walk across the swing bridge all evening. The bar itself has one large long bar as its central attraction with a number of small hut like areas helping you with your coats, photos and also a bottle bank for express service.
Their are two large stairs at each end of the bar that take you up to the second floor which again has a large bar dominating most of the floor. Their is plenty of room for you to sit or stand and on the lower level space it taken by a bucking bronco which funny enough it the bars second biggest attraction which the first being the in house entertainment from the Cowgirls, with their bar top dancing and drinking shows you will be entertained all evening. If you do want to try out your own western style dancing their is a dance floor area to the rear of the lower floor which does get very busy later on in the evening which it is time to dazzle the opposite sex with your moves.
Buffalo Joe's is becoming the new Baja Beach Club, it may be smaller but the attitude towards fun and enjoyment is centre of the staffs attention.
My recommendations after visiting the haven of cheese would be back across the bridge to Chase or into town for a bit of culture to Hoko10.

Newcastle has a massive number of bars, late bars and night clubs depending on your taste and mood. They range from the the cheeziest in the country to others winning bar of the year award.
So you can see why we have produced this short nightclub guide. Newcastle its self is very small in size so all bars are in walking distance from and each other, but it all depends on what you want.
