Hoko 10 in Newcastle
Very large city bar and classic cocktail lounge on two levels with a japanese theme.
There are 3 bars and an international bottle bar to the right of the main entrance. The bar's got class definately - and prices to match.
The main bar area downstairs is bright and airy with large glass windows to the front. The décor is a mixture of purple and beige pastel colours with a wooden floor and high ceiling, and spotlighting throughout. There is a small bar and to the left of the main entrance there is a cocktail bar that serves Sushi. There is a spacious feel to the place with plenty of standing room opposite to the bottle bar. The bar has ample seating with leather armchairs and an array of low tables and chairs. The upstairs bar area can be accessed by stairs at either end of the bar. This level has a more cosy intimate feel with private booths down one side. The booths have cushions and are a place where you can get totally relaxed. There is candle lighting on the tables that add to the relaxed atmosphere. A small bar is located to the right hand side and there is table service if required.
There is regular music on play at most times with the DJ area next to the bottle bar. A DJ night is a feature on certain nights. Live Sports are shown on a large drop down screen with all live football featured. there are also several widescreen TV's dotted about the place.
Other bars in the city centre are:

Not all bars will be in this list only the ones that I as a local will recommend. Keep following the page for more choices to help you pick your bar destination. On this page we will give you our honest opinion of some of the night spots in town, all with a special stag night juiciness rating.
Newcastle has a massive number of bars, late bars and night clubs depending on your taste and mood. They range from the the cheeziest in the country to others winning bar of the year award.
So you can see why we have produced this short nightclub guide. Newcastle its self is very small in size so all bars are in walking distance from and each other, but it all depends on what you want.
