As you can see it is no wonder we have a reputation as being big drinkers. Each one of these bars is well liked and a lot of that geordie charm that you will see over your weekend.
This pub is in the heart of Newcastle Party area, the Quayside.
It has a large open standing area with seating around the outside. It is a very renowned bar in Newcastle and you can tell by the price of the drinks. What I must say about Jimmyz, it has always had the best Happy Hour drinks special; with a push button choice where you can get drink for free, half price, two for one and so on. The decor in here is very nice and the staff always are so friendly and what to make sure that the time spent in their bar is an enjoyable one. The bar is quite big but at the weekend you will find your self squashed as this place is very busy with its clients ranging from celebrities to footballers alike and all that follow them. This bar is not to my liking solely because it is so busy but to be honest so are most of the bars on the Quayside when you look to go out on a weekend, if you are out early doors this is definitely a place for a quick pint just in case you see a celebrity. My recommendations after here are either Casa or Chase.
