Popolo in Newcastle
A bit poncy maybe, but some great cocktails .
The relaxed atmosphere and variety of seating types together with the 1950’s American pool hall appearance has made Poppolo a very popular place for eating and drinking through the day and night. 
The bar is very central and the mixologists certainly know their stuff.
I am not going to advise you what to drink - but go for a Gin Martini if you want to blow it fast... otherwise something long like a Tom Collins
This is becoming one of the sexiest bars in the region and it just does not even seem to try.

To be honest you are very close to the Quayside as well so if you get your skates on you can be there before last orders.

Newcastle has a massive number of bars, late bars and night clubs depending on your taste and mood. They range from the the cheeziest in the country to others winning bar of the year award.
So you can see why we have produced this short nightclub guide. Newcastle its self is very small in size so all bars are in walking distance from and each other, but it all depends on what you want.
